I truly love Black and White photography. I my images I try to maintain detail in the shadows while holding the highlights from blowing out. I use Photoshop with Nik Silver Efex as my main conversion tool. I always shoot in color first, and then convert to black and white. This gives me a very rich tonal palette to work with.
